The first poem is a cinquain where I had to have a five lined poem with syllable counting. Line 1 - 2 sybs; Line 2 - 4 sybs; Line 3 - 6 sybs; Line 4 - 8 sybs; Line 5 - 2 sybs.
Only A Fairy Tale
Fairy Tale
The one that tells
the past she can’t recall
Memories lost in history
Briar Rose

The second one is a quatrain where I had to write a four-line poem with 5 stanzas with a rhyming scheme. I chose abab.
Happily Ever After
Once Upon a time
The old cliché
Of tales and rhyme
Was led astray
The husband went missing
The princess fled
The child was crying
The prince soon found dead
To freedom she went
Alone with her child
Internally torment
Externally she smiled
A family she gained
But never re-wed
A “Happily” she obtained
Stories she read
The ending was different
But still just fine
Frown? She wouldn’t
The princess’ smile would always shine
