Today I feel invincible. It is the strangest thing. This is generally my worst day of the week, and yet, I feel great. But then again, I have triumphed over 2 weeks of illness, making school hetic. I hold a proud B in calculus and my grades are climbing in chemistry and chemistry lab. I’ve been working on a few art projects, about 5 to be exact. I only have preliminary sketches done, but now I can at least complete one this weekend. *knocks on wood* it’ll be a beaut! It feels as if all the pieces are finally coming together! And I have a new fascination with vampires to boot! This gives me inspiration, and now for once, I have time to pair with that inspiration! And, tomorrow’s FRIDAY! I think that’ll boost anybody’s spirits. This quarter is going fast, it is my hardest one yet, and it is about ½ over, then it’s summer! Granted, I’ll be working and going to school at night, but I think I’ll have more time on my hands. Invincibility…this reminds me of a story from “Pan’s Labyrinth” about the rose, which promises eternal life, grows on top of a mountain of poisonous thorns. Fear of death kept any man from venturing on top of the hill to pluck the rose. I’m sure some of you have gotten the point of the story. Lack of fear of death IS eternal life. Cause if you do what you wish, having no fear of death or any consequence of getting expelled, or fired, or rejected, you really, REALLY live! I guess this invincibility feeling comes from the fact that I know I can take whatever is dished out at me. BRING IT ON!!! It’s a great feeling, I tell you! So, if you are going through a hard time, at the end lies invincibility. If you conquer this hard time, what else can you conquer?
