It is time!
So the time finally came! My turtle came out of hybernation!!!! He was standing outside when I went to go and talk to him and still looked a little sleepy, lol. He was looking at the tree and I was like, "Hey Koopa!!! How was hybernation!" and he slowely turned to look at me and was like, "HHHHHEEEEELLLLOOOO, AAAAASSSSHHH!!!! NNNNNIIIIICCCEEE TTTTOOOOO SSSSEEEEE YYYYYOOOOOOUUUUU!!!" and I was like, "oh it's good to see you too, blah, blah, blah blah, you have no idea what has happened, blah, blah, blah, but we're going to have so much fun this summer!!! I missed you!!!" And we just sat there talking like a couple of old friends. It was such a nice experience, but now, I'm going to be taking care of him again and playing with him and everything. I'm sure he's missed a lot of company being asleep... Can anyone imagine being asleep for the entire winter? I mean, how many emails would you miss or would you wake up and have this horrible craving for a fudge pop or something?? I mean, we would miss a whole season of no playing in the snow, or watching the leaves fall off the trees or anything like that. It would just be like, oh! I woke up and it's spring! Time to prune my trees! Or something like that. Well, I guess that's why we just don't hybernate. We can't just let our grass die without any winter treatment or anything, and we just can't let Starbucks go without selling their Caramel Apple Spice drink. I had quite a few of those over the winter and I know I would not be able to live a winter without one! It just wouldn't be fair!
