Oh what a beautiful morning!
starting the day after a good
nights sleep snoring...
A cup of java a bagel w/cream
cheese
In the next cubicle is my friend
we shoot the breeze
Holy Mother of God!! what
was that??? should I run
grab my coat and hat?
The building swayed and shook
as if a giant gorilla playing blocks
with the building like in the
comic books
No need to worry!! loud speaker
blasted a single engine plane hit
the tower couldnt get past
it!
So quiet down no need to
fret
Back to work our board meeting
is set
So we all went back to work
the building again went
berserk!
Loud speak blasted!!
Get out!! get out!!
Twin towers blown up
were under attack!!!
A blur of frighten eyes
we all run
Out of the building out
into the sun
I looked up and what do
I see a giant smoke cloud
headed for me
God help us!! its mixed with
body parts and debris
People all around me a giant
sea of bodies of arms and legs
running, jumping, falling
and the awful screams
God!! get me out of here!!!
New York is being torn
apart by the seams
I yell!!! at my panic stricken friends
lets pray!!!put our heads
together to find a way!
Police are screaming!!! Run that
way!! go north!! get away from
the towers!!!
The people are diving out of
their windows hitting the
ground
Jesus! save us!! so much death
all around
As Im running I kept thinking
The Devil is here!
Oh God I prayed let me live
and not to have fear
I was one of the lucky people
who survived the 911 hell
to write this poem for
the brave and the dead
and to write it well
the day the devil ran
rampant for this I know
all hell opened up to the
debut of the devils show....
