i was feeling nostalgic about things one being the fall play i was in my junior year, it was called "Dark of the Moon" i'd love to do it again! Anyway my character was 'Dark Witch' and the best part of becoming the character was I had to make up an evil laugh. It took a bit of work to laugh on cue but i just thought of all the 'good' evil laughs ( smile ) i had heard in other shows and used that as inspiration. I remember when I first did it for the directors, i took a breath and just cackled my head off. One of the directors got all wide eyed and she looked at the other director who was wide eyed as well and the female director was like "I LOVE IT!!" heart
I revieved a lot of great comments through the work for the show, once some of us were just sitting around because it wasn't our scene but I was running my lines (even thought I knew them) with a few other ppl and the male director came out (he as in a bad mood as it was) he saw some people just sitting around then he saw us who were practicing and said "what a surprise! those who DON'T have to practice their lines are PRACTICING their lines!"
the trouble we had was ppl weren't memorizing their lines, i had my lines down along with a select other few, anyway not only did we have OUR lines memorized but I had the lines of OTHERS in my scene memorized so that Ad libing was easy for me the female director had even said that no one would have know what was going on if it wasn't for us and that we had pretty much rewritten the whole thing! eek
good thing is we came together in the end and it was a good show, everyone loved my evil laugh heart 3nodding

"So why should we hire you? What are your special talents?"
you'll think for a moment and then break in to an evil laugh twisted
....then they'll stare at you and just say ".....get out." stare
