‘An all American girl, all American tomboy girl to be exact. Interested in everything that guys do, not even interested in the slightest bit of make-up. Or dresses, skirts, anything. She walks around with a hat, a tank top, and work jeans on. She goes hunting with her father, she goes to races, everything a guy would want to do. If it’s some dirty work that has to be done, she will do it. Anything with machinery she can easily fix. She is not a bit interested in cheerleading, preps, or any of that. She was a guys’ dream girl. In fact, she hung out with more guys than she did girls when she was in high school.
Until that day.
Her junior year, half way through, a terrible and tragic event happened. She somehow disappeared. She was a girl that new her neighborhood like the back of her hand. A girl that took karate and yoga classes three days a week. A straight A student that knew everything about everything. She aced every class. And she just disappeared.
No one knows what happened to her. The last people to see her was her best friends, Mike and Kayla. They said that she was heading to the movies to see the premier of her favorite movie. But when the P.I. arrived, the manager said that she was never there. And the manager mind you knows her very well since she is there every weekend. He was expecting her to be there for the premier, but as you know, she never arrived.
The police won’t let anyone know what her name is.
She disappeared eighteen years ago. Some say that they see her every now and then. But only her closest friends say that they can sense her close by. The police gave up on the search a decade ago. She was never found.
Yet perfect her life may seem, it wasn’t so perfect after all. Her friends noticed a change in behavior close to her disappearance. They said that she would suddenly get angry for nothing then start yelling at random people. She would be happy one moment, then sad the next. She started skipping school, and she never skipped school before in her life. He straight A’s dropped to F’s.
Some say that her parents murdered her. Others say that she ran away.
Before anyone knew it, she was suspended from school. She started several fights, she had detentions every other day. And no one knew why.
The day before she disappeared, her friends and teachers noticed bruises and cuts all over her face and arms. That sent off the alarm.
The school eventually found out that she was being abused. But what they didn’t know, was whether or not she was doing it to herself. The police stopped by her house and talked to her parents. They said that they hadn’t noticed any of the cuts and bruises.
But the police thought that she had been murdered, so they took her parents into jail and they are still there today for child abuse and murder.
