Being ignored is a sad thing
It feels like you got a chunk taken out of your wing
This pain that you cant bare
Being invisible like air
Tearing you apart
Limb from limb, piece-by-piece, part by part
Wishing you'll die
But instead you sit and you cry

A Place

You don't know it,
but sometimes I go to a place,
A place far off the beaten path,
A place where the rain falls,
but the stars still shine
in the summer sky.
The stars that speak the untold story:
the story of two lovers,
ripped apart,
but only a matter,
if the bond is tight enough,
to keep them together.

In this place,
a single breath can last a lifetime,
a single breath used upon a wish,
a wish on those same summertime stars,
A wish that you were here,
by my side,
to grasp this moment, and hold it close

You don't know it,
but there's a place
where I can lay my head,
with the comfort of your security,
and the safety of knowing,
you're heart and soul are with me,
even when you can't be
