Enix spent most of the day completing his deliveries before the day ended. Since the whole entire thing was long and tedious, I'm gonna skip this part.

Enix: WTF?!

Levi sat on the backrest of the sofa in her dark blue jammies. It was late at night and Enix wasn't back yet. "Where is he?", she asked. "He should be back by now."

Leon, who was also in his own green jammies like everyone else, chuckled to himself as he flipped through the TV. "Whats so funny?" Levi inquired. Leon merely sighed. "Is it in a woman's nature to worry about other people?" He turned off the TV and stretched. "I guess he hasn't told you yet."

Levi looked confused. "Told me what?" Leon looked from her, to Kai, then finally Toshio. Kai Nodded, but Toshio shook his head. "It's Enix's decision, not ours, Leon." Said Toshio. Zero gave him a shove. "Wimp...fine I'll tell her, only cause I'm like his best friend."

Toshio shrugged. "Your life." He kept on reading an odd scroll. Levi then focused her attention on Kai. "Well? Go on tell me!" she insisted. Kai stretched and assumed a laid-back position. "You remember the Maverick Raid about 5 years ago right?", he started. Levi nodded her head. "What about it?"

"Well, Enix was 10 years old when it happened and well..."

"what?"

Kai then had a sad expression on his face. "His mom died."

"?!"

"She was killed when the mavericks bombarded Area D. Caught in a crossfire, as Enix once recalled it."

"No way..."

"Way." said Toshio. "When he told me the story, he said he was right next to her dying body, holding her cold hand up to his face, listening to her ragged breathing."

"Oh, so now you tell the story?!" Asked Kai sarcastically.

"Hey you already started it.", he replied.

"Thats so sad." said Levi. "Its amazing that he's not messed up."

"Thats the sad thing.", said Kai. "He really is, on the inside, anyway."

"What? but he seems so happy."

"Thats how he copes with it. Everyday he's always thinking about his mom. He never goes to Area D anymore. He freezes every time he sees a Mechaniloid or even hears about a maverick!"

"What does that have to do with him being late now?"

"What else?" asked Leon. "To visit dear, old Mom."

Enix stood on a patch of grass, in front of a gravestone. In his hand was a bouquet of tulips and Roses, neatly arranged. He laid it in front of the grave, and sat down by it.

"Hello...Mother."
