Well, today is Valentine's Day, and everyone was giving each other candy, flowers, teddy bears, and the like. I got some very cute gifts myself. <3 It was cold, but the sky was cloudless, and I was so happy for that. Over the rainy days of the last few days I made a poem.

Raining the Angels' Tears

Raindrops are merely angels' tears,
which they cry when we suffer down here.
The sun is hidden behind dark clouds,
making it as if its light never came.
Making it as if the angels are hiding their shame.

It saddens me to watch the angels' tears fall,
for all they want is for the suffering to stop for all.
Outside my window more teardrops fall as rain,
and the thunder rumbles like loud sobs as they watch mortals in pain.

I know we cannot stop the angels' cries,
we cannot stop the rain.
For every single day on this earth,
a mortal's life is slain.

I hope that one day at least,
we can lessen the angels' mourning.
To stop the fighting and famine,
and in turn the skies will stop pouring.
