"Omg We have A snow Day!" Yells Kate Excitedly! The Weather waws chilly, but not windy, and it was the perfect day for an adventure. She Slipped on her boots, and put on her coat, and ran outside before her mom could hollar at her. She Ran down the block towards Emily, and then decied it was better for a different approach. With a wicked smile on her face, she casually walked closer and closer, until she was in sight of Emily's house. She dropped on to her hands and knees, and scooped up some cold, undisturbed snow from it's resting place. She was going to create the best snow ball ever! She quickly discovered that if she mixed ice and slush 9into the snowy mixture, it would create a great effect. Carefully she molded the mixture into a ball, and then she contunied to add to it for some time. The process took her just over 5 minutes. "Great! The best snowball ever," Shje proclaimed as she added the last bit of snow to it, "Not to slushy, and not to hard, but it will still sting, nonethe less." She knew what she had to do now. If she missed, she would never forgive herself. She breathed heavily as she made her way up Emily's drive way. With out hesitation, she knocked on emily's door. Out Stepped Andrew. "I need to speak with Emily," Kate demanded," It's urgent!" "Alright, she's in her room," Said Andrew, Emily's older brother. Kate walked up the steps, quietly, not to give away her presence, and thats when she spotted her. She was in her room, reading a 17 magizine. "perfect," mumbled Kate under her breath. "she'll never expect me." Emily Put down the magizine, now was her chance! Kate Jumped up and Whipperd the snowball at Emily and hit her smack in the face! "hahahahahahahha!" Kate laughed Triumphantly! She started to do a victory dance, but then Emily had a look on her face that Kate had never seen before....was it revenge? Kate Relized with great horror what was about to happen, in attempted to Save herslef, she jumped out Emily's window, and all emily, heard was a plop, and Kate was gone. 	The Day Raged on. Emily, bored half to death, endlessly tried to find a campanion, but everyone, everywhere, were too busy for her. "If only Kate Hadn't jumped out the window to her perilous doom..."She thought as she boredly counted the number of splats on her bedroom wall, "If only I could have forgiven her before she left this Earth..." "Poor, Kate," She went on, "If I hadn't of been so easily irritated she'd still be here to hang out with me!" And then she thought, "And at this very moment, My most painful moment ever, she'd mock me with one of her blonde jokes!" She chuckeled at the thought. "Oh Kate, Oh cheerful Kate, What Have I done?" She screamed in wretched horror. Tears fell from here eyes, and saddness cut at her heart. "If only Kate were here, to rip my sadness from me..." She could imagine it now.... "Gosh Emily, If you keep crying, even your eyelashes will be bleached blonde!" Her voice was so clear and fresh in Emily's, to think, it had only been `2 hours ago when she plummeted to her...oh she couldn't say, she couldn't even think it! But then, another blonde joke apeared, and another. And suddenly, Emily relized that SHE coulcdn't be imagineing these! She wasn't that funny! She looked up from her pillow to see, Kate! Sitting on the edge of her bed! She jumped up from surprise, and raced over to her and wrapped her arms around her and hugged her so hard! But Kate pushed her off. "Finally!" Kate mumbled sarcastically as she fell back onto the bed. Emily walked over to her bean bag chair in the corner. "I've got so many questions!" exclaimed Emily while she pondered about which to ask first. "How did you survive the fall?" Kate looked around for a minute, and Slyly she replied, "I didn't." 	"Wha?" Said Emily with twisted look of terror. " I'm only Kidding!" Kate said jokingly. "Arg! Now you little-" "Hey Watch it! For all you know is that I did die and your just seeing things! Is this what you want your last impression to be like?" Emily though for a moment....no this isn't what she'd want but, Kate Deserved it! On the other Hand, Kate could be right..... "Alright," Emily said, irritated at Kate's witty behavior," I guess this in't How I want to remeber you...." "Good." Kate Remarked," Now that that's over with, What do you say we shall do?" Again Emily Pondered. She'd already had enough excitment for today, so she kinda wanted to stay outa trouble, which was completly impossible with Kate Around. "Well," Emily Started, "We could-" "I got it!" Kate rudely interupted Emily, "We could have a snow war! With my witty-ness and your, um, your excellent throwing skills, we could beat anyone!" Emily rolled her eyes. Another one of Kate's stupid plans? No way would she fall for this one. So instead of Telling Kate it was a stupid Idea, she tried to make it look like it was not possible to actually have a snow war. "I don't think we could, and anyways Where'd we find an army of people to fight?" Kate sighed. Emily was right, Where were they going to find an army to battle? She turned and looked out the window. Her face brightened. Coming up Emily's street were their sworn enemies, the prepsters. "omg! look outside!" Kate Called. Emily Walked over slowly. "Crap," she thought. "Maybe Kate will get her war!" They were coming by fast. By the time Kate ran downstairs and outside they'd be gone. She did some quick thinking. Then she remembered her extra snowball she purtin her pocket when she fell out the window! She reached in, opened the window and BAM! Hit Tyler smack in the face! He turned his chubby face to look up at her. "What the bleep? You're gonna pay for that, Kate inserts last name!" Emily turned and walked away from the window. "Now she's done it!" she thought. "Ok!" Kate Yelled down from the window, "Meet us at the park, 3:00 sharp, your gang against my crew!" "This means war!" He screamed back! Then he took off running down the street like a maniac. "What a loser!" Kate Thought. She turned back to Emily. Emily had a grim look on her face. "somethings gonna go wrong. " she told herself, "and I'm going to be in the middle of it.
