So back in like 2003, right around when I signed up here, my mother got with this guy, and we ended up moving in with him and his daughter, Sam, who was about 2 years younger than me( I was 1 cool . When helping me unpack, Sam saw my sheet up paper I kept my passwords on, since I use some different ones.
Fast forward a few months later, after a bad breakup between the parents and us moving out. Sam hacks into my Gaia account and gives all my stuff to her character. I slowly but surely recover, after reporting it to the admin and getting her account frozen. smile
Then, about a year and a half ago, I went to relog into my account after a long hiatus. Couldn't, said the password was wrong, so I then had it sent to my old e-mail account (I have several). Went to the e-mail and couldn't log into that, either, and my stupid secret question was changed! So it was irretrievable.
Altogether, it was wierd, because the character Durinae_nov_furae (was my name then, too) didn't exist anymore. So I went to my friend DarkAzrael's profile, and what do you know? The first person in his friend list, which use to be me, was a avatar that looked exactly like mine, clothes included, named chemical_nemo. Same sign-up date as mine, too.
So I google chemical_nemo. Leads me to profiles that show me Sam. Turns out the b***h stole my account. Yep, chemical_nemo is a stolen account.
And it annoys the hell outta me.
