How can I be your knight in shining armor,
when prince charming is right next to you?
He is everything and more than you ever wanted,
What am I to do?
He has luminous teeth,
while mine are full of grime.
He can give you the greatest of feast,
while I can only bring little from time to time.
His riches unheard of,
mines similar to the pleading of the beggars in the court.
All knights upon him given up,
I, left to fight varieties of all sorts.
His pride holds no guilt,
while my soul would be covered in filth.
His name heard on the earth below,
to the sky and Heaven above
going on into the unknown.
While I here remain the underdog,
before you I stand alone.
I honestly do not have much to offer,
all i can do is try.
Together we can do anything
even furthering farther from the neverending sky.
Reality can be so cruel,
as it holds me down to watch you go.
Finally too far for me to see,
Here again I stand alone.
Reality can be so cruel,
for the truth of the other's happy endings are concealed.
Please tell me when
