Kaos sneaked past through most of the obstacles then came towards a switch in the wall. What the heck is this for?, he wondered. Who leaves a switch on the wall? Oh, well no harm came from pressing a button.

He stretched up and slammed onto the button. Meanwhile, back at Grey's situation, he was prepared to dash through sword blazing until something began to glow in the center of one of the corridor walls. The guards stationed there were caught by surprise. Grey chose to take advantage of this surprise and dash into the green door slicing the opponents guarding it. Arrows began to fire at him, but he managed to duck in. Back at Kaos area, a door opened showing a passageway to another corridor. looks like we're getting somewhere!, he thought. Then another door opened and Grey fell through.

"Grey?"

"Kaos?"

"What are you doing here?!"

"I was gonna ask you the same thing!"

"Well come on then. Lets not wait for the grass to grow."

Together they went up the passageway. Meanwhile Mia and Seraph raced down the corridor in efforts to escape from the tower fortress. Mia was reunited with her bow and quiver of arrows. "Why are you helping me?", she inquired warily.

"Isn't it obvious?", He replied. "I'm a double agent of the Alexandria Covert Guards, a division of the Country's main Defense Squadron."

"I didn't even realize we had a covert guard division.", She said curiously.

"It was established shortly after your birth.", he explained. "But I don't have enough time to explain why, we need to get you to your friends and I need to return to my post."

"What?! Why?!"

"I can't have my cover blown now can I? At least not yet anyway."

Suddenly they were cornered by a group of soldiers. "Seraph?", asked one of the soldiers. "What are you doing with her?"

"Think fast!", Seraph hissed before he threw down a smoke bomb. Smoke began to fill the chamber and screams were heard. Seraph eventually came back to Mia's sight.

"Come on!", he said. "I think one of your friends is up ahead!"

They raced on leaving the chamber to safety
