The local school is still on for today - with a two hour delay. Normally, I wouldn't mind at all. It is still snowing, but I guess it would melt off anyway, so a delay makes sense to not lose a full day of school. But wait, what is this? There is no bus service to over half the district? You mean the roads are too bad for the bus, but not too bad for people to drive their little cars out and try and funnel into the school. I am no expert, but when it comes to life, I think school should take a back burner.

I am not the expert though. I'm not even in school anymore. Just conerned I guess. It is no wonder the school can't pass a tax levy, people think they aren't smart enough to manage the money - maybe they are right.
