Alex stood there, quietly, smiling, nodding every once and a while. She hated going to these...parties...with him. They weren't parties at all-They were orgy's; and they both knew it. He thought it was funny, to see her squirm, and be uncomfortable. She glared at him, when he offered her a wine glass with a clear liquid in it.
"I'm too young to drink, and I have to drive home."
He smirked at her. "Drink it. I'll give you extra if you do."
Alex bit her lip. 'He knows I need the money, and he's using that against me.'
She sighed, taking the glass.

Alex shrugged her shoulders, and wiped the smudged eyeliner off from underneath her eyes.
She gripped her keys in between each of her fingers tightly, and started up for her apartment, tripping, and falling up the stairs.
She reached her door, and opened it, smiling at the small dog awaiting her return. She giggled at her hyper dog.
"Hey D-Daisy."
She locked her door, tossed her keys on the small table, and squatted, ending up falling on the floor, and began playing with her dog. She gave Daisy a small peck on the head, then stood back up, and began walking jaggedly towards her bathroom to take a hot shower. She needed it after the night she had.
Alex reached into the left side of her bra, tossing the wad of cash on the bathroom counter. She leaned over the sink, dry heaved a bit, then looked up into her mirror at herself, and groaned.
"I look like s**t."
Her eyes drifted to the slutty dress laying on the floor that she had worn that evening, and sighed, returning her gaze back to the mirror. She had bags underneath her eyes, her lips were chapped, her cheeks were flushed, and her hair was a mess.
She reached up slowly, and pulled the clip out of her hair, her hair falling down well past her waist. It was wavy and knotted, and she knew it would take forever to get the knots out.
She grabbed the cup next to the sink, filling it with lukewarm water, and gargled it, then spit it out. She gagged a bit, at the terrible taste.
"I ******** hate this place, but where else do I have to go, eh?"
She turned around and stumbled across the small bathroom, reaching her hand in her shower and fumbling with the shower dial, eventually turning on the hot water. She took her bra and underwear off, grabbed a towel, setting it on the toilet lid, next to the shower, and hopped in the shower, biting her lip at the water that was barely luke warm.
"Man, I really hate this place."
Alex stepped out of the shower, and shivered. It was rather chilly, she could only hope that the heater would choose to work this time. She wrapped her towel around her, tucking in one corner, so that it would stay. She tiptoed across the cold linoleum and into her carpeted living room. She took a right into the small room you could barely call a kitchen; the only thing giving away which room it was, would be the oven, microwave, and coffee machine. She opened the cabinet above the sink, bringing down some instant swiss-miss hot cocoa and a mug. She poured some water in the mug and popped it into the microwave for 2 minutes, then left the kitchen, taking a right towards her bedroom door. She pushed the creaking door open, and sighed at her disheveled room. In front of her was her water-bed that her grandmother had payed for her from two Christmas's ago. She loved her bed, and took great pride in it's softness. She may not have a lot, but the few big things she had, mainly her bed, her car, her ipod, laptop, and her gaming area were all purchased by her grandmother before she moved, or for special holidays. She always felt guilty though, as some of her friends didn't have rich families. Hell, she hated hers; how they spend money just to spend it. But at the same time, she is extremely lucky for the things she has. And she realizes that.
She crossed the small room and over to her dresser that stood on the right side of her bed. She opened the top drawer and pulled out a matching bra and underwear set, and slid them on. She threw the towel down on her bed, and raced over to her closet, playing the "Let's see how fast I can get dressed before I freeze my a** off game." She slid on a pair of long, dark jeans, and a long sleeve T'shirt, with the Seether logo on it, then grabbed her jacket, putting it on. She went back over to her dresser, pulling out a pair of toe-socks and put those on as well.
She picked up her towel, and headed back to her bathroom--pausing to turn her heater on. She hung her towel on the back of her door, then headed back into her kitchen, grabbing her mug out of the microwave, and pouring the cocoa mix in. She giggled.
"Mmm. Marshmellows."
She threw away the packaging, then left her kitchen, sitting on her small love-seat across from her small LCD TV. She picked up the remote on the seat next to her, and turned it onto the news channel, and sighed, relaxing a bit. She slowly sipped her cocoa for a while, listening to the news.
A little while later, she glanced up at the clock on her Cable box, then widened her eyes, finishing off her cocoa in a large gulp. She sighed, standing up, stretching.
"I wanted to go hang out with Sam, Willow, and Alyssa, before Sam had to go to his manager's..." She rambled off to herself, adjusting her jacket, and slipping on her black converses.
She pulled out her cellphone, texting each one of them, to see what they were doing. Seeing as how she was lazy, she mass-texted them with the same message: 'Hey, it's Alex...what's up? You up for hanging out tonight? Txt back. <3'
She hoped someone gave her a response, but until then, she'd sit here and watch the news...Watching how terrible her beautiful city really was.
...You never knew it, but you held it from the start.
