[[First postie!!!]]
Pixie walked down one of the longer corridors of the large submarine that belong to Shade. Her bare feet lightly padding against the metal floor. It didn't bother her, walking around without shoes, she'd been through worse during her life in the city alone.
Her brown eyes looked up towards the large metal door, which seemed to be locked. She huffed softly. She'd gone the wrong way again. She turned around walking back towards the way she'd come and took a right turn this time coming to the eating-place. She brushed her long hair behind her ear as she peered in. There was only one person in there and he seemed to be busy at the time so she walked in and went through the only other exit and then started on again. Its not liked he'd understand what she needed to ask without talking to him. She hadn't talked to anyone in the submarine, not even Shade who always became angry with her. He didn't understand. He was a computer-man. She didn't want to hurt him with her voice like she did to the machines that had hunted her for ten years. She stopped in the hallway she had wandered into, her gaze dropping to the floor.
If Demon was here he could talk for her... He'd have told Shade what her voice did to computers that heard her. He'd have stood up to the angry man who sat at the desk, tapping his fingers and waiting. He would be there as someone to sleep next to and calm her when she woke up from scary night seeings [dreams].
Pixie's legs buckled from under her and she slid to the floor a knot forming in her throat as she tried to hold back her sobs. She wrapped her arms around her chest as if it would hold everything in, but she had three years and a month's worth of emotions to hold in. She hadn't felt anything until now except confusion when she first came into Shade's home and now it all wanted to come out at once. Maybe this was a good thing, but it seemed far too embarrassing to just break down like this...
She stood up again her legs wobbling as she walked towards a darker section of the hallway, pressing herself into the shadows and sliding once more to the floor, holding her breath, listening for footsteps. She heard none. She released her breath with a heavy huff, the pressuring in her chest and throat continuing to build until she couldn't hold it in any longer and she cried out her voice cracking as she let out a single wail that turned into sobs of anguish and frustration. She needed help and yet she was afraid to ask for it. She gripped the ends of the large shirt she was wearing, it going to her knees as her body shook.
"C..."
She mumured under her breath then released her shirt and slammed her fists against the floor. She couldn't help it, her chest felt so heavy now that he was gone, she didn't know what to think anymore. Everything changed when she came here. She didn't know what to think of how she was feeling, surrounded again by people after being alone for so long. Her anger at not being able to say was was on her mind, how she didn't know as much as the others here. She couldn't even say anything in fear of hurting Shade.
"Come back! Demon! Come back!"
She wailed, speaking for the first time in a month.
[[Sorry if its a bit depressing. Pixie is having anxiety issues, she'll get over it though.]]
