Wow. a few minutes ago I just got a letter from myself, two years ago. Very wierd experience, seriously.

Dear FutureMe,
It's 12:00 and you were just let out of school for Christmas break, which lasts til' Jan. 3. Joe doesn't get out til'
Friday, the 23rd, and you get to have two days without him, plus he goes back on Mon. the 2nd. Sunday is Christmas and I'm very excited to be celebrating Jesus's birth!! Joe is getting Robosapien and Grave Diggger Mega Air Jumpers, Lightning is getting a mouse and a cat cube, and I'm giving Mom a angel I painted, angel lights, angel earrings, and a cow creamer set. I just got Joe a Bionicle I got at the White Elephant gift exchange. I want a PS2 and Dance Dance Extreme Revolution 2. (Sheesh, that took awhile to get, only this summer!) and a better digital camera. (Got that last year, my Olympus. It's my baby.) I hope I have a really good one by then. Dad seems to be struggling to get enough money, but we're getting by. I want to work at the pet shop by then, are you? This is kinda cool, and I can't wait to get this. Jana's doing this as well. Jana lives just down the street and is in 6th grade, and I'm in 8th. this year I get to leave and then go to Upper Perk. I'm nervous. How well did I fit in? Am I still connected with my friends this year, Kaity and Olivia and Sarah and Megan and Jana? (**Yes, I hardly ever talk to Kaity and Liv. rolleyes Haven't gone to Jana's house in forever though...
Do I have a boyfriend?Ha! all the boys in my class are dumb. I can't wait to be 15 and then get a car at 16. Do I still want a purple bug? How is Mom? She's not feeling too well with the RA and diabeties and auto-immune Hepatitis and whatnot. How about joe? He's in 2nd now, age 8, and he'll be in 4th and 10 then!! Wow! Is he better at fitting in and acting better? How's Dad? How am I in school, am a getting A's? How's Lighting? Still young and bouncy? and the cats around town, like Goetze's and Kaimakazee and Affection and Bouncer? (**I named every cat I saw in the neighborhood!) This is wierd, and I wrote a lot!! Am I on Pet Talk and friends with Gary-catmandu? (**he was this weird guy I talked to on this cat message board. Looking back, he was really creepy.)

Lets see, two years ago...
I had never read Ted Dekker, Lord of the Rings, Scott Westerfeld, even Cornelia Funke. I might have read Eragon.
I wasn't much of a nerd at all.
I wasn't obsessed with the internet...
I still went to my TINY little school.
