~In The Village Hidden In The Leaves~ (Woods)
Dane was running, running as fast as he could. The wind never felt so cold before, on this silent, dark night. Something was chasing him, it was flying through the air with black wings and red eyes. He didn't get a good look at it earlier, only a glimpse. But, that was all that he could muster up, considering how scared he was. He was almost at his limits. He was slowing down. He couldn't use his chakra to make him run faster or anything, because he used most of it earlier, running across that wide lake.
It kept getting closer, and closer. He was trying as hard as he could to run faster, but he couldn't. He finally gave out. He stopped, turned around and fell backwards to lay on his back facing the direction of it. Tears filled his eyes as it got closer. He was terrified. It flew towards him really fast, and opened its mouth up, ready to eat. He shut his eyes really tight, but he realized he should have died by now, considering how close it was when he shut his eyes.
He opened them really slowly, so he wouldn't startle it. When he opened them, the first thing he saw was blood and tears streaming down its face and dripping on him. Thats when he noticed...
"Y-you're a vampire..." That was the only thing that he could think of to say. The vampire stared at him straight in the eyes, blood seeping through his clothes unto Dane.
Dane rested his right hand on the vampire's left cheek. "Why do you look so sad?" Even though Dane was a 12 year old boy, he felt he was in love with it. The vampire started dripping more blood and tears unto Dane. It grabbed the hand that was on its face, and held it tight, eyes closed. Dane just stared at it, he opened his mouth, wanting to say, 'I love you...' But, he couldn't.
It opened its eyes again, and brought its face closer to Dane's. Dane was too shocked to move. He wanted to kiss it and tell it that he loved it, that it wasn't alone. But you can love something, but then at the same time, you can be completely terrified of it. And thats exactly how he felt.
The vampire brought its mouth towards Dane's neck and licked it, slowly. Dane gasped and breathed heavily. It got very quiet. The only thing that Dane could hear was his and the vampires breathing.
The vampire let out a painful moan, and leaned on Dane. Now, he was fully laying on him. Dane didn't move for awhile. Then he finally put his arms around the vampire. His eyes closed. "It's okay...You can..."
The vampire was hurting, but he forced himself back up and looked Dane into the eyes. Dane looked into his too. "You can bite me, just promise me.....We'll see each other again someday..." It didn't do anything, but then it put its mouth unto Dane's neck. ".............I love you............."
He finally said it. The vampire bit down on his neck, very slowly. Dane's moan was the only thing that could be heard.
