"Hey wait up!" The cutest boy in school was coming toward her. To shy to talk, she kept on walking forward. "Hi Terry, I was wondering, where did you get that hideous face! It is an awesome Halloween mask!" She obviously knew that she had no chance with Ethan Dunning, the cutest most popular boy in the whole 7th grade. " Hello Ethan, and it is not a mask! It is my face."She blushed and ran off home where she could lay sulkily on her bed. As she walked off, she heard Mandy Crosby and Ethan talking. " So um Mandy, wanna get some food tonight?" He asked. " Sure, but I can't pay, I have no money on me today." "No prob, i will pay, you know, like a date?" This made Terry want to die! She ran as far as she could without stopping, coinsidentally she stopped at her best friend Megan's house as she was going into her house. " Wait, Megan!" Megan payed no attention to her and walked inside. "What's wrong with her? Why is she mad at me?" She asked herself. She continued home even more depressed then before. In about 3 minutes she ran home, went up stairs, and put her face in a pillow and screamed! She had to do this almost everyday, on account of she was not the most popular girl in school, and got made fun of. She dug out her diary, and took out her purple pen out of the box her mother had given her. Her mother had died 1 month ago, and she couldn't talk to her dad about this. She had a sister, but she was always drunk, or smoking pot, or smooching her boyfriend, and had no time to talk. No one could understand her, Terry's dad didn't even know his daughters name! And her sister probably didn't know Terry existed. She missed her mom to death! She started to write about her day in her diary, when just then her dad barged into her room!
