Today ought to be entertaining.
The games have already begun.
Chimpy is so gung-ho first thing out of the gate in the morning. The rest of us want to check our mail, get some tea (or coffee - or warm beverage of choice), Brian always comes in for a "joke of the day" and we chat for a few minutes. Mornings are slow.
But Chimpy, ohhhh no. He's gotta slam in like a water buffalo in heat, "I need access to blahblah blah blah."
Yeah, like he's ever gonna get access to my web server. Dummy. Last week he was all casual about wanting the password to edit the website, "Just let me have it when you get a chance." Um...no. Idiot. You'll pry that password out of my cold dead hands - now be a good little Chimpy and go SELL SOMETHING.
He was a rather unhappy Chimpy when I told him it wasn't happening. Damn I hate when users have a little bit of knowledge and they feel as though they are your equal. Know what? You're a SALESMAN - not in the IT department - so run along and SELL STUFF.
Dance monkey, dance and leave the technology to the people who get it.
