A tear glistened down my cheek,
As I stared out my window to ponder;
Will this pain ever go away?
Its been almost a week
Since this pain arrived
Now I’m left to wonder;

I stared at that lonely boy
The one that sat across from me

Will I ever feel the miracles of joy?
As I stand in the corner I pretend to enjoy
The scenes around me
