About three and a half years ago, I started Shoalin Kempo, and fancy way of saying Karate. I loved it and advanced to purple belt in two years. Then I quit. Bad mistake! I started up again after fourteen months of down time, and I had a 45-minute class yesterday evening, and now...OI. It hurst to laugh! I am so out of shape, I am sore all over. But I think I'll stay with this new company. I need to fulfil 100 hours of PE this year for high school, and I haven't got any. But that's about to change! I can go to a MAXIMUM of 345 minutes of heart-pounding workouts, which is just under six hours. Like I'll work out that much in one week! On a normal week I suppose I'll have two hours of training or more, which I really need. I have a little more than 30 weeks until school is out, so that gives me plenty of time to work on it. Hope fully next time I write it'll be about something good!
Oh, I can do really good roundhouse kicks when I want to, so this green belt was holding the target for me. It's one of those that are like two rubbery paddle balls stuck together and sewn halfway. I lift my leg, pivot, and snap my leg out in one fluid motion, and the target WHAPPS! and it's the loudest thing in the room, I swear. The kid looks at me like he's never seen a girl kick that hard before! "Sorry," I say. I think I scared him. Whoops. ^_^'
