OMG! This was so funny, at least it was to me. My step-sister was over and we were talking about her gaining weight during her pregnancy. My mom said she actually lost weight after she had me and she was fatter when she was younger. I said "Yeah! I saw the video." My mom has a video of her singing when she was my age. I said "You had dimples." My step-dad said "She still has dimples." and I said "But they were more pronounced." Then my step-dad said "It's profound." I said "No it's pronounced." Then my mom said "To pronounce is to say or speak something." I was like "That's pronounce. I said pronounced" So she goes and gets the dictionary from under the cabinet, but it's a children's dictionary. She looked up pronounce and she said "See. We're right." I said "Look up profound." then I went to get my webster's dictionary from MY room and came back to the living room. I looked under pronounce and after it they had pronounced as it's very own word. It meant to mark deeply. I was like "Ha! I was right!" And they're supposed to be the parents! I'm smarter than they are! It was so funny because they were so absolutely sure they were right. "No it's not that means...blah blah blah." I laughed and did a little dance! rofl
