Sitting on the overly bumpy seat of the old cab she looked out to the landscape passing by. Beside her the only bag she had with her sat leaned against her leg, a pencil poking out as if to see as well. The bag contained all her needs for the trip, especially the sketchbook and pencils that never left her side. Artist by nature she came out on a whim but now she was regretting it. She had only seen swampland and farms for the last 2 hours and she was missing the tall steel buildings of her hometown.

As the old cab followed the curve of the road a little too fast she moved her head closer to the window suddenly. There in the middle of a small clearing was a single headstone. The simpicity of the mother Mary caught her eye and she placed her hand on the window as if to reach out for it. "Ow!" she squeaked as the driver made a slight jerk of the wheel sending her into the window.

"U-Um could you maybe stop for one second." she stammered her feet now over her head as she was squished between the seat and the floor. The car didn't slow down at all and she tried a few times more. "Stop this Damn car!" she shouted getting frustrated. The brakes squealed and once again she was thrown into the seatbelt gasping for breath.

She opeaned the door as if she couldn't get out fast enough. Draging her bag with her she leaned her head into the open passenger seat window. "Um I'll be right back, I just saw something I want to photograph. She gave the man some money to keep him there but when she turned around and started to look for her camera in her bag she heard the squealing of rubber on pavement. Spinning around she caught the sight of her only ride to civilization turn around the corner.
