When A Boy's Mother Moved Away.
He Could Have Gone With Her,
But Instead He Chose To Stay.
He Lived With His Dad
For Four Long Years.
Every Day He Felt More Pain,
Every Night He Shed More Tears.
His Back Became Familiar
With The Stick That Whipped Him.
He Would Be Beaten
Until The World Went Dim.
His Ears Became Familiar
With The Insults He Received.
He Was To Young And Foolish
To Know He Was Being Deceived.
He Can Not Begin To Count The Times
He Would Break Down And Cry.
Because It Seemed Nobody Loved Him,
He Wanted To Die.
His Father Broke His Mind And Spirit,
Sent His Dreams Into Oblivian.
He Destroyed Who The Boy Once Was,
And Those Scars Can Not Be Healed Again.
That Was Eight Years Ago,
He Has Not Completely Recovered.
Theres No Chance Of Him Being Who He Used To Be,
But Maybe It Made Him Stronger.
Now He Should Be Moving On,
And Doing Other Things.
He Should Be Proving To The World
That He Is Not Nothing.
The Only Problem,
That He Has Every Night,
Is When He Closes His Eyes
