Info on Oni
Born on an ancient world, before the fabrication of time could become, she was created only to be the heir to a mighty throne. While the war raged and the remaining members of her family, the last of the Ancient Wolf Spirits, hid in the depths of the forest, she went through school from the young age of one to become the perfect queen. The opposing god thought the spirits were an evil race and because they had create a mighty forest that spanned across half the world, he believed that they were plotting a secret attack with all the creatures who took shelter inside the grassy land… Wanting power, he had a message sent to Lord Moroko and Lady Asuka asking them to allow him their daughters hand in marriage when she was older, and in return, he would stop his attacks. However, Moroko and his wife refused to give their daughter to a man who would abuse the power. The young heir was kept safe from the war in the midst of the forest, with her older brother Ookami always at her side. At the tender age of thirteen, her mother was shot and thankfully survived because of the heir’s quick healing. That night around the fire, she questioned about what a bullet was. She had known about the war, but not the depths of it. Weapons were something she was untrained in besides the ones her father had instructed her teachers to use in lessons. When her father told her to stop asking questions and to go to bed, it started an argument that sent her into the woods to be away from her father, not wishing to face him. She slept in a tree that night and awoke to the sound of whispers. Her sensitive hearing could pick up even the faintest sounds. Those familiar she could easily ignore, but those unknown were mysteries to her. She followed the sounds through the giant trees until she came over a group of angels that had been sent by the opposing lord. By foolish mistake, she fell from the tree and landed in the center of the group, only to escape into the trees after knocking a few away. She could hear a battle starting near her kingdom. There had been an ambush at the healing lake. The last thing she remembered was a searing pain that sent her falling through the branches of the tree. She never hit the ground and was never found by the angels as she lay unconscious in the giant leafs of the mighty tree. When she awoke to the strong smell of blood, and the scent was clearly that of her own family… At the healing lake, she found her mother lying on the shore, three spears pinning her to the earth. No matter what she did, she could not heal her mother’s wounds. She did not have the power. Before her mother died, she cried the single tear a wolf spirit could cry, which shimmered as it fell, transforming itself into a jade. With her father and brother’s deceased bodies already taken from the sanctuary of the forest, something would snap inside her. The created heir was not a perfect creation of her family’s magic. She had dissolved power from other creatures in the forest, making her mind unstable as different sides of her wished to escape… It was her darkest side that broke free first and delivered a mighty blow outside the forest boundaries… By law, she was not allowed to leave the forest, but she no longer cared for such rules. At the base where her father and brother had been taken, she sold her soul, heart and mortal body to take the blood and spirits of her family and created a red gem that would become her life… After that, she released an ancient attack that had been banned. The attack was a power only the wolf spirits could conjure, but because it devoured all, including the user, it had been a power that was no longer used. The darker side of the heir refused to realize her actions until the attack backfired and began to engulf the ancient world. As the world began to shatter and erupt into flames, she came out of her insane form, her body beginning to burn away in the flames. The forest was the only true hope. The forest had been created from the same power, and the flames could not harm it. Only feet from the forest, the ground shattered and in fear, she cut a rift that she had been studying in ancient texts. Both the heir and the forest were safe from the destruction, locked in separate voids. The world was gone within minutes and the fragments that remained would be the start of the newer worlds to arrive… When earth came to be, the void released the heir in the empty land where a priest would find and take her in. Little clues tipped the village off on who she was, her legend of destruction and evil having been passed down by the god. She was hated and abused by the village. Often times pelted with rotten fruit. The priest took care of her, believing she was not who everyone thought she was. She wanted to be tended to, and because of her lack of power after being locked away for so long, she needed his help. She kept her secret from him. However, one night he came into her room, only to find her drawing the mark of her family. A struggle would be the start of it when he realized he had been tricked, and soon the struggled turned into rape. He had loved her, but she had lied and betrayed him in his mind. That night he dragged her into the woods and tied her into a tree by her arms. He used a hot blade to cut the mark she had made on the paper into the center of her back. He filled the mark with a cursed ink that healed the wound and kept the ink below her skin. The pain it caused was unbearable. Even the tiny twitch of a finger would cause a blaze of black electric streaks from her skin. For a month, she hung from the tree, trying to gather the power she needed. It was her darker side that came to help, break through the chains and seeking revenge on the village… When the heir came to, back to her sane form, she found the village in flames… The curse that had been set on her back made every movement painful. Often times, her body would become paralyzed and she would lie for days at a time on the ground. As years past, the constant feel dulled the pain… She acts as if it is no longer there… Just as she does now a days as she sits in Ban Misteir… The only times it becomes an issue is when she is struck from behind. With her through the years, she has kept three items dear to her. One is the tear shaped jade her mother cried for her, often worn on her ankle. Another is a golden heart-shaped locket that was given to her on the day of her birth by a friend. Inside it is the only picture of her and her family. The last is the gem she created, always kept in place of her non-existent heart. It pumps her blood and gives her life, while keeping the spirits of her family near. It took a long time before she finally found the void to her world and brought it back to life. The people on it were grateful for her return and her taking on her role as heir. The forest spans half of the recreated world, and every day she gives 98% of her energy to keep it flourishing. Her goal is no longer to find her world, now that it is found, but now she searches for a husband to help keep her world alive.
