Kakashi looked up. he was reading one of Jiria's rough drafts. The books were ok. A little perverted though. "Hello Hokage" he said to to the man who had just walked into the room with a little nod of his head. He wasn't huge with the respect your elders thing.
"As you probably know your to team mates in team 5 are out for a while." The Hokage stated.
"Yeah including sensai. I got out lucky," he said with a smile. The room was plain a bed and a washing table. The interesting thing was the people. the Hokage was a tall man, but not a giant. He had spiky brown hair and a small beard that was just on his chin. He wore all black. you could tell he was strong and he carried a pouch that held his shurigan. the man was the strongest ninja in the village and the leader of the village. The village was called Konoha, Hidden in the Leaves.
Kakashi had white hair, something that made him look older than he was. he wore a mask, it was navy blue and covered his nose down to his neck. He had a gray t-shirt on and black pants. He wore hiss head band with the symbol of Konoha on his fore head.
"We would like it if you kept up with your training in the mean time. There is a mission for you." The Hokage said.
"Really? What kind?" Kakashi asked eagerly.
"It's a c ranked mission. Good because your a genin. You and a few chounins will go and a guard a tribe that is moving from there home lands because of war. they have requested that you guard them from robbers. There are about 100 of them." he paused, "Do you accept?"
"Sure. it's more interesting then sitting here."
A few days later and they were well on there way to getting the tribe through the mountains. there were many women and children on the trip as well. on of the girls was a little strange. for starters the people called her stranger. When asked her name she gave a faraway look and said "I don't know," and then walked away. She seemed not all there and sometimes just stood, staring off into space. She was kind and helped the mothers, even helped move the carriages along.
On the trip there were very few attacks, at least not ones that were to hard to deal with. when finally they got to there destination the ninjas began to pack up and make ready for there trip back to Konoha. Then Stranger walked up to Kakashi and said "I'm leaving"
Kakashi didn't really know what to do. so he said, "To where?"
Her reply was different then what he expected, but after she said it he knew that, that would be the kind of thing she would say. Her answer was "To somewhere, not here" She then turned and walked off into the woods.
As Kakashi was saying goodbye some asked where stranger had gotten to. he told the women that she left but did not say where she was going. Kakashi left and did not stay to see how the news was taken.
Over the years Kakashi forgot about this strange encounter. At the moment he is rereading Jiria's book for the hundredth time. He is now a jounin. the highest level, except for the Hokage.
Kakashi looked up, in front of him was an eagal. "Time to go see the Hokage" he thought.
He walked into the mission room. For a moment he had a flash back memory of when his genin team, Team 7 had gotten there first mission. Naruto was off training with Jiria somewhere, Sakura was training somewhere under Tsunade's orders.
"What's the mission this time, Tsunade?" he asked coolly.
"Call me Hokage, dam IT!" she stormed.
"Sorry Kakashi" Shizune said with a bow, she got into the sake last night. Tsunade is a 50 year old women who looks like she is in her twenties. She is the currant Hokage, and has been one for the past year.
"It's ok, now your mission is such, your to get this girl," She pointed to a tall girl, about 13 in the corner. The girls had a large backpack on and she was gazing out the window. "and her master's pots to the Rice country. These pot's contain a large value and they must be delivered to a futile lord in the northern regions of the country. This is a B ranked mission. Do you understand?" She asked
"Yes I do." Kakashi said officially. he looked much like his younger self, except that he was taller, and his headband now covered his left eye.
"Oh by the way, Asuma Sarutobi is coming with you."
"Yo, am i late." Asuma said loudly.
"Yes, you are," grunted Tsunade, "Have Kakashi fill you in on the mission. the girls name is Moriko."
I've run out of time today but i will finish the story later!
