Once upon a time there lived a little cupcake in the land of Pastryville, and his name was Ishmael. It loved life, and he loved that he was a cupcake...because he was one of the basic food groups. This was truly an honor. He and his friends were so proud, they decided to have a party!! Ishmael was so excited that he put on his extra special frosting and sprinkles, and off he went. He bounced along the side of the road paved with cinnamin suger and chocolate surup. As he was admiring the tasty landscape, he saw an ice-cream cone cross the road. "Hi there ice cream cone!" he greeted him. "Oh why hello there Mr. Cupcake!, A fine day for a walk in the town, eh?" He replied. Ishmeal told the ice-cream cone all about the party he and his friends were throwing, and invited him to come along. " Oh well, I wouldn't want to intrude!" he commented. Ishamael assured him that he would certainly be welcome! So they walked on a little more until they reached the residance of Jeffrey Cakey, Ishmael's best buddy. They went inside, and Jeffrey greeted them happily. "Ishmael, who is your nice friend here?" he asked. "Oh this is...uh..ummm..Oh my! I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name! How rude of me.." The ice-cream cone replied, "Oh it's quite alright! My name is Phillip! Nice to meet all of you". Everybody partied until it was very late...so Ishmael decided to head for home. "Oh, feel free to stay! We can have a sleep over!" Ishmael gladly accepted, and by that time everyone was super tired from dancing and playing games all night. Ishmael had a wonderful friend-filled day, and knew he would have these friends forever. So Ishmael, Phillip, Jeffrey, and some others all cuddled under a warm fleece blanket and fell fast asleep.
