Prologue- A Light in the Night
A group of teenagers sit on the tops of beat up cars in the run down junkyard on the out skirts of Los Angeles. The sky above them is a sheet of dark blue velvet sprinkled with specks of shimmering silver. And the night air was in the comfortable 70’s.
Indeed it is the perfect night for them to be smoking cigarettes and joints, drinking beer and just having a good time.
And as the young clouded minds talk about future events of the up coming summer vacation a bright light appears in the sky and plummets for the earth. Upon impact the ground shakes violently for a total of 5 seconds then all was eerie quite.
The teens who had been watching the large ball of light jumped into their cars and drove off to the landing sight which was a few miles away. But when they got there… nothing was there except a large smoking crater.
All of the high schoolers left the site, all of them making discombobulated comments about what it might have been but if they had looked back as they drove off a strange thing could be seen big thing getting up and walking away with a limp.
