Chapter 4- Kassidy's Intro |

Kassidy wasn't all that happy. She was banned not to long ago, about a year from now anyways.
Kassidy couldn't understand why what she did was so bad. She was trying to make herself perfect. She altered her DNA, trying to wipe her father's Fallen DNA out of her. But no... they caught her. She was then banned, and never heard of again...
She woke with the sun in her face, blinding her and chasing the sleep. She sat up, her bed squeeking under the weight of her wings and body. Her wings stretched as she stretched her arms. She yawned, then sat up, blinking.
She walked down the stairs of her father's old house, hoping to find something in the mail other than overdue bills or junk. But, as always, that's what she found. Her "dirty" blonde hair was a mess, and she almost looked as dead as she felt. She went up to have a shower, change her clothes, then go out for what might be her last breakfast here. She put her hair up in her mother's favoriteclip, then walked down the stairs. She sat down at the table, staring at the bills.
'Amazing they haven't cut everything yet.' she thought to herself.
Then she got up to grab her bag, when a cat came slinking around the corner. He meowed at her, almost as though to say 'Take me with you." But Kassidy sighed.
"Sorry. Can't take you with me." But she soon regreted saying that, because the cat gave her a very big-eyed look, almost making her feel sorry for him. She gave in, picking him up, then throwing the now purring cat into her bag and closed the door behind her, and walked down for her favorite bakery.
When she got there, she found her friend at the counter. She walked up to it and smiled.
"You think you can do me a huge favour while I'm gone?" she asked nicely. Her friend looked up, a what-kind-of-favour kind of look. Kassidy sighed and pulled her cat out, who was now sleeping.
"I can't take him with me. I need someone to care for him. Please Jessie?" Kassidy was almost begging until a smile broke out on Jessie's face.
"You know I love him. I guess I can for a while." Jessie said kindly, but then her tone hardened. "And if you don't come back, I get to keep him."
"You drive a hard bargain... Fine. But if I do come back, I keep him." Kassidy said. When Jessie nodded, she ordered a bacon and egg sandwich, handed over her cat, then took her sandwich and headed out the door.
((Whoot!! all the intro's are now done and I can continue with the actual Story!!! ^^))
