Ah man! Yesterday was so awesome! I went with my parents to watch the DCI competition (which marked the official opening of the season) at the Naval Academy Stadium in Annapolis. It was the coolest thing ever!! It was the first competition of the season, the Marine Drum and Bugle Corp helped to kick it off, and I even got to see the Cavaliers perform!! blaugh
Oh my God, it was amazing! I can't wait to watch the semifinals and finals on ESPN in August! And now I have something to compare some of the performances to. How cool is that!? xd Ah man, yesterday was just the best. I'm just wish we could have stayed for the award ceremony. But, from the way everyone was talking it sounded as though they plan on comming back next year. I'm really hoping they do. That would make me so happy, you have no idea. And if they do come back, I am so staying for the awards. cool
And now, as sort of an experiment in hopes of being able to share with you some of the Sci-fi geekiness, I give you "The Injured Stormtrooper."
Yeah, so apparently, videos donnot work in blogs on Gaia. Shucks. I'll just leave you with a link, then, because this video is just too great not to share it. mrgreen

Midshipman: Have you mastered the [Marine] "Yes" language yet?
Frank: No. I tried it the other day with my professor. I said "Hoorah, sir!" and he said "You just told me to shave my mother."
