this is the 2 longest series i've stayed with so plez comment nicely. no mean stuff cuz i'm sensitive and hurt easily. crying but i still kick [that word] in drawing. no swearing! xp mrgreen but Sarah can draw a trillion times better... crying
Neji lay on his bed. Hinata, TenTen, and Hanabi crowded around him. The house felt cold...very cold. There was a short knock at the door. Hinata walked over to open it. Tsunade walked briskly into the room and sat down next to Neji. With a simple wave she dismissed them from the room without a word.
Three hours past and it was now drawing near 11:00 pm. The girls had to force their eyes to stay open, in case of an attack. TenTen was the only one who didn't need to try to stay awake. Her eyes laid fixed on the door. Her ears listened for the sound of footsteps comming towards them. She held her bow staff tightly, as a warning. Hinata sighed and rested her head on the wall.
"TenTen?" Hanabi asked, "how long has it been?...it's so dark...i can't see a thing!"
"Shush, i need to concentrate." was her reply.
"Wha--?" she was about to say when Hinata out a hand over her mouth. She gave her nee-chan a stern look as to say 'be quiet'. Hanabi nodded solemnly.
The door opened and Tsunade glanced down at the three konoichi sitting on the floor.
"Lady Tsunade?...is Neji..?" TenTen asked without hesitation.
Tsunade closed her eyes for a minute, "Some people cannot be replaced..." TenTen's eyes began to water. Then, to everyone's surprise, Tsunade smiled.
"But some people don't need to be!"
Everyone's eyes widened as she stepped aside to reveal Neji, standing with a big 'ha, we fooled you' grin on his face.
"Ne-neji?!" TenTen cries in joy as she wrapped her arms around his neck. the two of them fell to the floor laughing. Hinata and Hanabi joined the embrace. Tsunade beamed at them.
"Now," she said, "How did this happen exactly?"
All eyes fell on Neji.
"Well..." he began, "There was this guy...He was attacking Hinata...I fought him but as i was building up my chakara, he swung his sword over my head and all of my chakara was gone."
Tsunade nodded for him to go on.
"Then, he knocked a wall down in an attampt to crush me. It missed." he said, "Then another wall. The roof fell down...Trapping me under the wood. As soon as i was under, a slab of cement fell on the wood...crushing my lung and breaking seven ribs...I blacked out..." His eyes grew dark as he said, "I failed my duty..."
