But not the one I promised. I'll get to it eventually...

Happy Mother's Day, all! Today I went with my family [including mother and YaYa (Greek for grandma)] To the beach and harbor. There, we went to a wonderful Greek restaurant (Greek family, if you hadn't noticed by now) with bellydancers and good food. I myself indulged in a delicious serving of roasted lamb with stewed potatoes and carrots. I couldn't finish the whole thing and had to put it in a doggy bag. xp

Another nice little touch was when someone dropped and broke a cup, and everyone clapped and shouted, "Opa!" (SP?) It's some Greek tradition. Anywho, we got some candy (which I haven't seen since xp ) and I got a 50-cent worthless plastic alien from a satanic mechanical clown that (as it was advertised) was supposed to talk to you, but all it said was, "Have I got a surprise for you!"

So then we went to the beach after my YaYa and her sis left, went to some oceanic meuseum or something, and came home. All in all, I have to say that it was a truly splendid day. biggrin
