Forever chained to the earth,
no place to rest.
Never able to leave,
thanks to a crest
I want to leave this place,
go to the one I love
no matter if she is down on earth,
or high above

In your arms I can finally find trust,
Only love and hope, and no lust.
But when I wake up the dream is gone,
And I am alone again, in the dark.
I wish I could follow you to the light,
And if you help me, I will win this fight.
When all this is over,
when everything is done
I will be finally be with you,
you keep me in the sun
