A Second To Think

• Description: I'm a full honnors/Ap student and the work can really piple up sometimes. That's usually not a problem for me, I don't mind the work if I get the credit for it. But when I wrote this I had so much Sh*t going on in my life that I couldn't focus in school cuz the administration was keeping tabs on me (they thought I was mentally unstable) and my home life sucked and so much was on my mind. I wrote this one day when I was sitting in AP Euro. I hope you like it.

The world moves fast around me
It is loud and voicestrus.

People come and go,
Laugh and cry,
But not me.

I stay here,
Still and quiet.

They move so fast
All caught up in life
No one stops to think
Or even look around.

I stop and take a breath
As a rush of light goes by
Now that I have stopped to think
I just watch the time fly by.
