• At lunch Debbie, Leslie, and basically all my friends sat at one table. It was getting crowded. So I left to sit with Venny. Venny was sitting with his friend Max. Max was the shortest kid at school who had many friends. He was even shorter than Leslie no offense or anything. “Hey Iris do you still like Preston?” Max asked. “What no! Any way he’s a jerk” I said. “Don’t tell Preston’s girlfriend this but he is gonna get her high at a rave at his house tomorrow after the dance” Max said. “What how do you know that?” I asked. “Because Preston told me well he is also cheating on that Katie girl you used to hang out with” he answered. “What! I know that I haven’t been so nice to her but I have to tell her” I screamed out loud. “No don’t do that any way I told her but she didn’t believe me” He said. “Well I have to convince her or she’ll ruin her life” I said.

    Today was the dance and it was weird. I was devoted to get Katie away from that evil backstabbing jerk face that didn’t deserve friends. I told Katie but she didn’t believe me and she said how we can’t be friends. I tried to convince her but she didn’t listen at all. The dance was six hours away and I was scared. At lunch Venny and I talked a lot. Debbie came by our table and we talked. Debbie was obviously ready for the dance because she came to school late just to get her hair ready. Then Nick came by and sat with us. He and Debbie was a weird couple but they were both nice. “Hey Iris you know that Preston is using Katie right this is the lowest thing he has ever done” Nick said. “Preston’s becoming a bigger jerk than before” I said. “Ya he said Katie was butt ugly and he’s not acting like himself” Nick replied. Venny and me left to have some alone time. “So Iris you look pretty today” Venny said. “You look good to” I said.
