so i'll tell you about something funny that happened at dinner today 3nodding
so my family and i are eating dinner at Mimis. i started talking about my spring break assignment: read The Miracle Worker which is about Annie Sullivan teaching Helen Keller how to communicate. Helen Keller is the one who was blind, deaf, and mute.
so my sister starts talking about a girl that she knows.
"so Helen Keller is the one who flew around the world and then disappeared somewhere and everyone thought that she was dead or living with the Japanese, right?" she asked.
my family and i burst out laughing.
"that's Amelia Eartheart," we exclaimed.
"so Helen Keller was the girl who wrote the journel and was in the Holocaust, right?" she asked again.
again, we laughed.
"that was Anne Frank," we corrected.
"oh," my sister said. "Helen was the blind, deaf, and mute girl, right?"
"right," we replied.
it was really funny. i mean, almost everyone knows about Helen Keller.
