Dang! My life is boring! Well anyhoo, I'm ACTUALL gonna post a story! YAY!!! Okey dokey, here we go! *ahem*
Prologue
‘They just keep on coming!’ He thought to himself, as he swung his sword in a spin attack at the frostees. His arms burned with pain, his legs were aching and begging to stop. ‘When will this end!?’ A moment passed, the frostees shattered into millions of shards. He took a deep breath, “It’s over.” The handsome young man said to himself He turned and was about to head back into Hyrule Castle Town, when the ice shards flew from every direction. Link looked back and saw where the shards were flying to. The ice crystals were putting themselves together to form Frostinian, king of the frostees. Link gulped as he took out his sword again. The creature roared a shrieking, blood curdling one. Link tried to hold his famous green cap on his head as the creature blew a wind so strong, he was blown back ten feet away from where he was originally standing. Then, Frostinian shot sharp icicles from its fingers, Link managed to block one with his shield, but one struck him in the left shoulder and knocked him to the ground. Frostinian’s fist came down; Link rolled to his left and dodged the blow. He leapt back onto his feet and pulled out the icicle out of his bleeding shoulder; He looked around for any weak spots on the monster, he pulled out his bow and arrow, and shot Frostinian in the left eye, then the right. The monster shrieked in pain as it tried to remove the arrows; this gave Link time to hack violently at Frostinian’s leg, with one final whack, the he fell back. Link jumped onto him and struck at his chest and the monster’s body cracked. He repeated it two more times. When he struck the final blow on the Frostinian’s chest, a red glow appeared between all the cracks on the monster’s body. Link leapt off and stepped back several feet away form the writhing creature, and finally the ice creature exploded, sending shards flying everywhere! Link was too slow in grabbing his shield and was rattled in shards, and a blast of cold air, like a million degrees below zero, surged through Link’s body, he screamed from the freezing pain; he crumpled down to the earth, shivering. “It is s-so c-c-cold!” he whispered to himself, his horse, Epona, who appeared from nowhere as it seemed, nudged him in the ear. He reached a shaking hand up to the bridle, and pulled himself up; he laid his blonde head on the saddle to rest, just for a moment, and pulled himself up onto the horse. “Take me…to the castle!” he commanded. As Epona started to canter, he suddenly felt the searing pain in his shoulder. “And fast!” The gate was lowered and the beautiful horse swiftly galloped into the town, past the gate to the castle grounds, up the road and through the large doors he walked. Princess Zelda, seeing the whole battle from the tallest tower, saw Link race on Epona, into town. She glided down the stairs of the tower, ran across the slippery hallway floor to the main stairway, and flew down the steps just as Link burst through the doors. “Link!” she screamed, frozen in fear, she couldn’t move. “I need…help…” Link managed to force out before he collapsed on the floor, too weak to move. Zelda’s legs could finally move, and she ran to Link’s side, and helped him up. “What happened to you?!” she said. “…Ice-s-s-s…sh-sh-shards!” Link said before he fell into her arms fully unconscious. Zelda dragged him up the stairs back into her room and laid him on the bed. “Oh, my dear Link! I’ll have you healed in a moment.” She said as she grabbed some healing potion, she lifted the bottle to his lips, and the potion went down. The wounds were all healed, but now Zelda had to clean, now sleeping, Link up. “It’s going to be a long night!”
