Intermission I: Life
I have witnessed life. I have witnessed death. I have caught glimpses of everything else in between. I have seen the children crawl sickenly in the darkness. I have heard the wealthy's mocking screams.
I have seen all there is to see. I have found all that I thought was lost. I heard the childrens' cries. I have held their empty dirty hands.
I have seen the tower of my father's birth. I have found true love sitting under a forked tree. I have taught all that I was taught. I have honored my baby son. I have killed my dearest friend in a war. I have put my soul in all that I have done, surely, pitiful boy, there can be nothing more.
eh, it's not in order, but oh well!
