Forbidden Zone
Shipwrecked in a time unknown,
a vortex rips us far from home.
This is what they call the forbidden zone.
Not a sight in sky. Black vacuum,
sucking oxygen from lungs,
popping skulls like balloons.
Pressure builds.
I write this now, for certain I shall die.
A morbid, but practical way to say bye.
We push to the center,
The One Great Eye.
The rest of the crew fights and bickers for control;
But what we all really want,
Is someone to hold.
Until we see
The eye of the galaxy
Super-massive black hole
Have you ever been off the earth?
To a place where all the compasses don’t work?
Playing with the multidimensional
Wormholes has consequences.
At least we will know we were there
When time itself shifted.
