Squeee! No school for two weeks! - does a happy dance -
=D
Finally, I can sleep and stuff. No stupid homework. No having to worry about my stupid grades. At least for a couple of weeks.

Speaking of grades... I about wanted to kill my Spanish teacher today.
I was checking the online gradebooks in Desktop Publishing today, and I went to my Spanish teacher's page. It told me I had a D-. It said I failed a big chapter test that I actually got a C on, and then said I failed a "second chance" optional test that I didn't even take!
I seriously freaked out. Mainly because my grades actually kick butt this year, and I'd like them to stay that way.
Turns out his gradebook sent me to someone else's page. Stupid thing... scaring me like that. I have a B in that class.
Still, it made me really think about how Spanish II is going for me. I'm confused as all hell, to say the least. Of course, the teacher is no help. He basically throws a bunch of stuff in our faces, and expects us to learn it ourselves.
When we complain, he tells us that this is how it will be in college.
-_-U
Well, gee. That's nice and all... but we're not in college just yet. And at least college professors give notes and lectures. Something to work off of! He maybe gives a few tips, and nothing more.
Currently he threw all this preterite verb endings, and irregular verb/irregular preterite verb ending s**t at us... all at the same time. That's too many different verb endings to even try and memorize at once!
And yet somehow I'm passing this class. Well, I've decided I'll deal with it for the rest of the semester, and then next semester, see if I can't switch to the other Spanish teacher's class. Since she's better at teaching this stuff.
She and my Spanish I teacher worked together as far as assignments and stuff, and although my old teacher was kind of scary... there's a reason I passed her class with flying colors. She was a damn good teacher.

But I'll worry about that another time, because right now it's fall break!
