Oho! Yesterday was the bee's knees it was.
I went with my best friend to the city to eavesdrop on one of my sister's evolution lectures. All about the New Caledonian crows and using tools. Tres cool. Mais un peu rasoir a temps.
I whiled away the hour doodling in the little notebook I brought specifically for that purpose and watching the natives, then whizzed out of the lecture room when it was finished. Long walk back though Albert Park where the flowers were scenting the air and the natives were lounging around on the grass (t'was lunch time it was). Rather hot day so sweated like a (insert fav. animal here) until I arrived at the arcade which was mercifully underground. My friend and I commandeered one of the better photobooths and posed to our hearts content. Thankfully it was mostly in english so we could understand it, and were able to decorate the photo's without mishap.
When done, went to McCafe where we ordered a muffin to share and an iced chocolate each. Was served by a dour-faced teenager who spoke in a monotone, "do-you-want-anything-else..."
Yes please, ma'am, a smile would be nice. rolleyes
Partially ate our half of the muffin and scrambled back to the bus-stop right up a darn hill. Got on the bus (there goes the last of my money) and found to my horror that it wasn't air-conditioned and all the windows were closed. In THIS heat?! t'was a crime and the bus driver should have been shot for it.
Behind me sat these 4 'supree' girls. A.k.a loud obnoxious voices, skintight pants with short skirts over and stupid slipper shoes. No originality... talk2hand
Arrived home and bummed around for a bit. Practiced a bit of piano. Went to gym where I huffed and puffed my lungs out. Went back home and had dinner. Read until dropped dead from tiredness.
