I knew my dad was going to grow attached
to our new scaley menace.
My dad caught him yesterday.
After I nearly walked right up and sat on him,
before realizing he wasn't a part of the wall I was about to sit on,
or a rock that happened to be sitting on the wall.

His name is Humphrey [ dad's idea! ]....
and he's a baby rattlesnake.

Well my dad said he was going to eat him.
But, he's still down there in his aquarium.
Not eaten.

because he didn't like the flash on the camera much.
I don't blame him.
I had to back off after that picture
so he didn't end up giving himself a big headache.
His head would have gone ka'smack! against that glass.
