Well today I went to the beach with my family & well since i didn't feel like getting wet, I stayed up on the shore, on a rather itchy bamboo mat under the nice shade of a wimpy umbrella. I only say it was wimpy because as I was nearing page 130 in the book I was reading (Salems' Lot by Stephen King), and all of the sudden I felt a whole bunch of warm sunlight touch my back & in an instant I realized OMG the umbrella just flew away! So while being laughed at by bystanders, I chased the stupid umbrella for what felt like a mile (but it probably wasn't even close to a mile). And then because of the wind I was dragging this umbrella which would normally weigh like 7lbs, but instead felt like 45lbs, which was quite exausting and then I couldn't get the umbrella back up and my brother was out in the ocean on a sandbar, while my parents were walking up & down the beach. So I was stuck with an umbrella underneath me in hope that it wouldn't get away again. But then we went out to eat at a rather "interesting" restaurant where I had an appetizer of clamstrips & a basket of fried shrimp for the main meal & a mint chocolate chip ice cream cone for desert! So even though I had a crappy time @ the beach, the food was good! ^_^
