THIS SONG IS SO SEXY!!
I mean, it's not even so much dripping "OMG, SEXXORS!"
More than anything, I find something deeply sensuous about the song itself, in combination with Utada's amazingly catchy, semi complex chorus and the singing itself. whee
I mean... here's what it makes me think of: The beach at night.
It's not even so much about the beach, but about the ocean!
Yes... a not too calm ocean, at night... and as the surface breaks (the chorus suddenly starting) I can envision a girl with long brown hair breaking out of the ocean's surface. I guess what I really imagine is a ravenous mermaid's dance beneath the rapid waves as they glimmer in the full moonlight in the otherwise blue black darkness of night...
Not even a mermaid, maybe! A girl being saved from nearly drowning... oooh... I just chose a new theme song for the 'drowning' scene from Versailles!! >w<
Of course, there's that strange feeling I get from the song-Resolve. There's a lot of resolve in this song, especially in the beginning, and what's more, it's very dramatic, very intense. It's a very dramatic and intense resolve... Damn I really want the Ultra Blue album now... XD
Way to go, Utada Hikaru! You have another sure hit on your hands with the highly danceable 'This Is Love!'
