I hate when people say (in a bad way) that I've "changed." Sorry but I feel like I have the right to change. I've grown up a lot in the past few years. I've had experiences that have helped mold me into the person I am. I'm personally proud of all my growth. Just a few years ago I was a silly kid in high school not knowing what to do with my life. Now I'm getting married this year, helping take care of my family, and a lot of other things. A person is entitled to change every once in a while, and it's healthy. How can someone say they're not allowed to? People are free to tell me what I am and what I am not. But at the end of the day only I know what I am. And I'm happy. And that should be all that matters. The only thing that sucks about change is that often when others change, you stay the same. Or vice versa. It's hard when everyone's life is on such a different page from yours. When I graduated high school and everyone was off to college and paving their own road to their future, I felt left behind because I didn't go to college and I felt like everyone was changing before my eyes. Well now it's my turn. My life is moving along but at its own pace. There are so many things about me that HAVEN'T changed. But once again people will always focus on the negative things.
