Personality: Umi is normally quiet and reserved but she's caring and kind. She hates seeing people hurt or think of themselves less then what she thinks they are. When she get's irritated she can be kind of scary, despite being born and raised in a high class family she can be quite the rebel doing things her parents advise her not to do.
She sometimes: Paces or takes her anger out on her instructors, if they can take it. Sometimes she sneaks away from her family estate to get some air and a bit of a reprieve.
She doesn't care for: Spicy things She hates when those she cares about are in danger, threatened or injured. For obvious reasons, their dear to her. She hates spiders, snakes, and any and all insects because they're slimy and crawly. Being reminded of the past
She's terrified of: Being alone, being abandoned, Those dear to her getting hurt or dying. She's also afraid of Losing herself, being weak and not strong enough to help protect those she loves.
Her greatest wish: For those she loves to be safe, and to see her sister once more.

Arrival of tears
Past: Umi who was born with high spiritual powers was always targeted by demons spirits and even corrupt humans. By the age of six she was already capable of dispelling barriers and eliminating evil. By her side was a demon fox boy born on the same day as her. Born to serve her. Her protector and her best friend.
One evening when Umi was around nine her sister her protector Shinji and herself crept out of the family estate and into the forest for some air and a little freedom away from her overbearing controlling concerned parents. It wasn't the best idea and the event that caused her want to strengthen herself took place. A demon far beyond their ability arrived and killed Umi's sister as Shinji tried to protect them.
Seeing her sister die made Umi snap a little bit inside and her powers went haywire if only for a second destroying their attacker beyond comprehension. The two remaining children lost consciousness and woke up several or more days later back at the estate. Umi recovering from a injury to her head which she now has a scar from which is normally hidden by her hair. Ever since her leaving home has been restricted unless accompanied by someone or for school lessons or other events deemed important by her parents like exorcisms.
Umi now strives to be stronger by learning martial arts and weaponry as well as to further master her powers. She refuses to lose another dear one, because her deep regret of that night she only has one friend and that's her protector. She no longer let's anyone into her heart easily. It's a battle just to get to the front door.
