Looking up from the crib where her tiny daughter laid sleeping and made at face at the red head in the door way. " What's the difference?" The man let out a sigh and made his way over to the brunette. His arms wrapped around her waist and pulled her close. They both were silent for a while before the ginger opened his mouth to ask, " How come you don't wanna get married?"
" For the love of god!" Katie groaned
" I just want to know. Is it because you're scared?"
" No! "
" Don't want to be in a dress?"
" No,"
"Then what? "
The woman let out a frustrated sound before wiggling herself free from Jake's arms and stormed on out of her daughter's room. If she was gonna beat the s**t out of this man she sure as hell wasn't going to do it in the nursery. She just got that kid down for a nap, if she woke up she'd was only going to get pissed off even more. Dishes, were there any dishes that needed to be done? No? Will damn, looks like screaming into a pillow for the next ten minutes seemed like the answer--
"Come here " Katie gasped as she felt herself being pulled backwards onto the sofa. Cathrine let out a huff and leaned back against the man under her. "So, proposal attempt number t- " " I have man shoulders, ugly legs and I hate the color white."
" ....."
" ......"
" Are you kidding me!"
" No, I- Shut up! Stop laughing you p***k!" She snapped. " I..I can't help it!" Jake chuckled, " s**t Kate, you sound like a girl-" and with that the Dog promptly shoved the red-head off of the couch down onto the floor. " Rude, much?" Cathrine then made sure to take up all the space on the couch and turn on her side, facing away from the man. Jake picked himself up from the ground and brushed himself off and let out a sigh.
" You do know that, you don't have to wear white, right?" He asked. Nothing, she said nothing. " And your shoulders are just fine an-- Come on, at least look at me when I'm talking. " " You should like my mother." She grumbled. " Mother knows best. " All Katie did was look over her shoulder and stick her tongue out before returning back to her normal position. " Besides, you have lovely legs." Cathrine let out a scoff. " And how would you know that?" The man smiled and climbed on over the pouty Brunette. " Well, There just happens to be this beautiful little girl in the other room who, if we don't keep quiet, will wake up any moment." Katie smirked before leaning up and stealing a kiss.
"Cathrine Lee Cooper sounds dumb." She mumbled. " And Jacob Ethan Cooper doesn't?" The dog laughed some, " Cathrine Lee?"
"What."
" Marry me?"
"Sure."
" Just can't say Yes, can you?"
