Once Upon a Time.... There lived a lonely ghost living in the old house of the Nguyen's.... It roamed every night, Midnight till Dawn... Looks harmless, but deadly. No one ever claimed its name, but spoken as 'Lady of the Dead'. No one ever dared to enter hat house since the Nguyen's had moved away, because, their daughter, died tragically, in a attack, so she commit suicide. As years went by, every family that tried to move in, she wailed and moaned because of loneliness, yet married, and lives in despair. Everyone was driven out from the house. Years even grew by, the house became more wretched then before. It was declare a restricted house for anyone. And the story begins!!!!
******(Chapter 1)******
BBBBBRRRRRIIIIINNNNGGGG!!!!!!!Every student rushed out the school doors. Mason, Johnny, Nick, Antonio, and Tony all walked casually altogether out the door last, as girls admiring and comparing them. As they walked front of the local graveyard, Mason stopped, and then heard a voice crying, "Despair... Loneliness... Revenge..." "Dude," Johnny waved his hand over Mason's eyes, then exclaimed, " HEY!" "WHAT?!" Mason snapped. " Why are you spacing out?" Johnny asked. No reply. " You guys are such enigmas," Nick said, and then strolled away home. Mason strolled the opposite way, whistling, Tony and Antonio were left alone at the entrance of the graveyard.
******(Chapter 2)******
"Hi Nick!!" a girl classmate said.
"Oh, Hi!" Nick answered.
"You coming to the dance?" She asked.
"Sure," Nick replied.
The girl smiled. "That's great, um, see you then." She skipped away to her house.
"If only I could even say I like you, Wendy" Nick mumbled.
Nick opened the door and saw his mom doing the dishes, but he ignored her. Nick brushed his bangs aside and jumped on his bed. He looked at the old house that is believed to be haunted and he thought," It must be hard to be a ghost, isn't it?" As not known, Nick's Grandfather gazed at the same house too then said, "Hanh Chau, anh nho em nhieu lam", then he wept. (" Hanh Chau, I miss you so much" wink
******(Chapter 3)******
BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEE-!!!! The peacefulne- "ANTONIO!!!! YOU HEARD THAT ALARM CLOCK NOW GET DRESSED!!" his mother exclaimed. Antonio groaned and then sat on his bed and rubbed his eyes. He waited until he was finally stretched, stood up and looked at himself in the mirror, honey brown hair, pale aqua eyes, and forest-green plaid T-shirt P.J.'s.
As Nick finished buckling his pants, he rushed downstairs and saw Tony, all dressed up in their school uniform, smirking. Antonio gave a quick glare at Tony, then noticed that scrambled eggs and bacon were for breakfast. Antonio took the scrambled eggs with his bare hands, and ate the whole thing, a second later after he finished chewing the scrambled eggs in his mouth, he gobbled up the bacon and washed his hands at the kitchen sink.His parents dropped their mouths open. Tony quickly finished his breakfast, then kindly thanked his mom for making it for him, soon after, he put his fork down in a mannerly way.
He casually walked outside with his brother (Antonio) and noticed that his best friends came out at the same time too. The 'Grand Bus' arrived in time, though Mason spaced out again, but Johnny managed to un-space Mason out in time before the 'Grand Bus' left ('Grand Bus'= Limo, Nick's dad's limo). All of the boys stared at Mason, except the driver, Mason was spaced out.
"MASON!!" Johnny exclaimed. "Huh?" Mason was puzzled. "oh, yesterday I had a dream that this Vietnamese lady was crying and mumbling some Chinese or Asian language. Nick took out a small notepad and a pencil. "Write whatever how she said it, maybe she spoke Vietnamese," Nick said. "O-ok," Mason replied, he started to write and sketch what the lady looked like and what she said. Mason finished, half way near school in five minutes. "Here," Mason gave the notepad back to Nick. Nick took the notepad and tried to translate it on a separate sheet of paper, then he stared at it thoughtfully.
" That lady looked like your dad," Mason said. Nick was shock and said, " How did you know that my dad looks like that lady?! You've never seen him before!" "Tell your dad that, he forgot to close the curtains in your bathroom to put his business in and THAT'S HOW I SAW HIM!!.... I thought that we were gonna contact each other at your bathroom window, and that was always a promise!!" Mason exclaimed.
Everyone grew silent. Tony cleared his throat and said, "Well, Nick, did you translate it all of those mumblings of that lady?" "Y-yeah..." Nick replied. Nick read to the boys that he translated: "I have nothing else left, I lost everything... You must carry this on to my husband and children if you know them... Come find me in my house... I shall wait for my family to come back, the Nguyens...There are a lot of Nguyens' in this world so find Thanh Ha, my daughter my husband is Hieu Nguyen ..." Everyone was thinking about of what was translated. " that's my mom's name and my grandfather's name, he lied to me how my grandmother died....." Nick said weakly. "WHAT?!" The boys exclaimed.
*******(Chapter 4)******
"I must go to that old house to see my grandmother, she was waiting for my mom and grandfather for a long time"."What?" Tony said, " you can't just go!!! That house has been known all in the state that its officially haunted!!" " Yeah!!" the boys exclaimed. Nick made an uneasy face to his friends :/ "Are you crazy?!" Antonio said, " you can't even face your dad in a Frankenstein costume!!" Nick stayed quiet, but said, " I have to find the whole truth about this, my grandmother will probably be gone after when she sees my dad, don't worry. The boys gave a silence...
"Sirs, I think your arrival to school is here," the limo driver said. Silence again... As they left the car, everyone was talking about Halloween, Halloween costumes, and how the school council was going to plan the all school Halloween party. "Oh yeah," Johnny said,
" Halloween is coming soon."
"You think that my grandmother will come out on Halloween?" Nick asked.
"How would WE know," Antonio replied.
"I don't think that going to your grandma is a good idea," Mason said, then spaced out.
"Oh gee," Johnny started to un- space Mason out.
" I wonder if your psychic, Mason," Antonio said.
" W-what did you say?" Mason asked Antonio.
"Never mind," Antonio replied to Mason
. They boys started to walk casually to the school building, girls comparing and admiring them, as usual. Wendy was walking with a stack of old books, a 'All Popular' girls pretended to clumsily trip Wendy, and expecting Nick to ignore her (Wendy)."Oo0ps, I'm so sorry Wendy," the 'All Popular' girl said. Wendy ignored her, and started to pick up the books.
"Hey, let me help you," Nick said to Wendy. As Nick was picking up the old books, he noticed a book about his grandmother's ghost.
"Wendy, can I borrow this book?" Nick asked.
".... Well, I think you have to ask the school president, because these books have been here for a while now. Um, I think they are for the school vault," Wendy replied.
When Nick and Wendy finished picking up the old books, they looked at each other thoughtfully.
"Uh... Um... Er... D-do you, em, er, want t-to come, uh, to the H-Halloween dance um, with me?" Nick asked, both Wendy and Nick were flustered, then Wendy said, "Sure, I'd love to!!".
Not noticing, Nick's best friends were watching the whole time, and the 'All Popular' girl was watching too! Peeved, the 'All Popular" girl left to her class. "Haha..." Johnny teased. "Stop it, you're the one that doesn't have a date yet," Nick replied. Johnny went silent.
"Oo0-k," Tony said, "let's go to class."
The boys started to walk casually to their classroom. " Guys, I got to to to the School President's office I'll be back in a sec," Nick said.
"Sure," they said. Nick hurried to the School President's office. The school president's name was Mrs. Boxfort, she was reading a book. "Mrs. Boxfort, I would like to ask if I could borrow an old book that belongs to this school," Nick said to her. "Hmm?" Mrs. Boxfort put down her spectacles, and then replied, " THIS BOOK?" She took a glance at the book
. "Yes, Madame'" Nick replied. "...............Are you punctual turning in your library books?" Mrs. Boxfort asked.
"Yes, Madame'," Nick responded.
" Very well, but return it to me after fall, I do not want a irresponsible student taking care of this!!" She said to Nick.
" Nicolas, give me your ear," she said, Nick obeyed, " I have heard that when that ghost settles, the book will disappear, then a new book will appear," she whispered. Nick nodded, then left.
******(Chapter 5)*******
"Tsssk!! Tssssk!!" Antonio whispered to Nick in class. "What?" Nick whispered back. "Did you get to borrow that book?" Antonio whispered to Nick.
"Yeah," Nick replied. " Nicholas," Mr. Burntsep said to Nick, " what is this part of China called?" "Em... Er.." Nick hesitated.
Johnny wrote on his slate for the answer 'Qinghai'... "Qinghai?" Nick said puzzlingly. "C-correct!!" Mr. Burntsep said. Nick's friends giggled, Johnny gave Nick a secret thumbs up. Mr. Burntsep was suspicious, but didn't bother to interfere. The bell rang, so school was over. Halloween was tomorrow and the boys were going to go costume shopping with the girls that they asked out, Wendy, Kana, Talia, Rosette, and Nora.
The "Grand Bus" drove them to the store, the boys went in with the girls to pick out costumes at 'Halloween Central' Nick and Wendy chose the Dracula couple, Johnny and Talia chose the Zombie Couple, Tony and Rosette chose the Ghoul Couple, Mason and Kana chose the Mummy Couple, and Antonio and Nora chose Frankenstein Couple, which totaled to $154.86 cents in all.
******( Chapter 6)******
Nick realized that he couldn't go to the Halloween Dance, because he needed to see his grandmother. Nick took his cell phone and called Wendy. "Wendy... We need to talk," Nick said to Wendy on the phone, "What is it?" Wendy asked. "I might not come to the dance," Nick replied, Wendy was shocked. "Why?" Wendy asked again. Nick didn't reply, he couldn't tell Wendy, after all, it was almost forbidden to go see his grandmother. "Hello?" Nick didn't notice that Wendy was calling for him about 6 times, "Sorry I got to go, text me."
Ding-Ding Nicks text message alert rang.

" Please leave a message after the tone," the line said.
Nick groaned. He was desperate to tell Wendy that he couldn't go during someone that is so important, so important be could reveal what really happened to her. He felt afraid in a way, never before, something beyond that fear.
It was Friday. A day off for everyone to relax for the dance. Everyone is so excited. I don't feel like taking out the curtains to day. I feel so quashed hearing about grandma, Nick thought. It irritated every single part of his brain, full of thoughts. Why is that ghost my grandma? Why did people hate her family so such? Who killed her? What happened to her body? Why am I so involved in this?
It even made him forget the thought of coming to the dance. His cell phone rang with his favorite song, Breakeven (piano version). "Hello?" Nick answered.
"I am SO sorry that I didn't answer!! My mom wanted me to come with her to examine the 'you know what house'. She said she was very little when that house was off limits to the public." Wendy said on the phone.
"Oh, sure its fine," Nick said, those words... I... Can't... Go... To.... The..... Dance..... Those words felt like frogs in his throat. How could he say this. Nick uttered a sound, but nothing else came out of his mouth.
"What is it? Are you ok?" Wendy asked Nick strictly. Nick needed to be honest, really honest to get this through, there will be a next time.
"I-I can't g-go to, to the dance, Wendy. I-I'm so, so sorry," Nick stuttered.
Wendy gave off a sigh, " Its ok, but why?"
"Its a long story," Nick said.
"Oh but will you tell me AFTER the dance?" Wendy questioned.
"Sure," Nick said in reply.
Today is the big day. Where Nick gets to see his grandmother. I must tell his mom about this, no, he can't it'll make her worry. After all, she worries about everything.

Nick heard running outside the door. The doorbell rang 5 times. "SURPRISE, SURPRISE!!" His friends screeched. "Ready to go?" Tony whispered. "I might have to get that book that the School President let me lend," Nick said quickly. The3 boys strolled up a hill, quivering with fear. They noticed a teenager, same age as them, was carving a face that looked so familiar, so real, that it could come alive. He looked Asian just like Nick.
"Hey, can I see that sculpture for a minute?" Nick asked the boy. The boy looked up at Nick in a way, his eyes look at him like Nick was nuts or something.
"Toi khong co hieu thieng anh, sinh hoi mot cau thieng Viet di," the boy said. Nick understood what the boy said ( I don't understand what you are saying in English, please speak in Vietnamese if you know how )."Ban co biet ai ma o' nha nay khong?" Nick asked. ( Do you know anyone that lives in the house?). The boy showed the sculpture to Nick and friends. "That is so cool," Antonio said. "Fascinating!!" Tony exclaimed. " ITS THAT LADY I SAW IN MY VISION!" Mason shouted. Everyone gave a look at Mason in an unbelievably way. "HEY LET'S GET MOVING ITS ALREADY DUSK!" Johnny screeched. The boys ran to the haunted mansion as fast as they could (followed by the boy). As they stopped, everyone was out of breath. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahaha a wail cried. "AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" the boys screamed, except the boy, waiting until they stopped.
There it is. "Do us the honors of opening the door, O pure friend," Tony said. Nick pushed the doorbell. GONG- GONG- GONG!! The doorbell screeched loudly, maybe even deaf people can hear it.
Nick slowly opened the door. The door creaked like a nonstop yip of a dog, in a scary way. The boys gulped, except the boy. He turned the lights on. A cabinet fell from the stairs. "DUCK!" Johnny ordered. For some reason, the piano started playing, Antonio shrieked. Oh. It was just the boy. >o< Whew. He was playing the Bruno Mars, "Grenade" song. He was wasn't only playing it, he played it in a fast way. Something eerie Bumped on the wall. "EEEEEEEEEEK," Tony shrieked, everyone was so afraid. "Hey, the door is unlocked," Johnny said. When they opened it, it wasn't the same town they lived in, IT WAS A DESERTED AREA!
Suddenly, Mason fainted, unconscious of even hesitating.
Antonio tried to wake him up. No response. Tony tried screaming at Mason's pale face. It didn't work. "He'll wake up eventually," Johnny said in concern. "But we need to get out of here!!" Nick exclaimed.
The boy looked bored, like he wanted something to be more exciting.
Everyone just went silent.
They saw a faint, glowing light coming towards them. I-t was a woman with faint light crying to death. She noticed the boys in front of her. She looked very kind. She floated towards the boys. All of the boys were frozen with fear. The ghost looked at Nick thoughtfully and the boys, her face softened.
The ghost struggled to brush Nick's hair, but she was a ghost. She didn't say anything, she couldn't, she could only do that in visions. The ghost lifted up the cabinet like it was no big deal and looked back at the boys sternly. Another ghost appeared behind her. They looked like each other, but, the one that just came looked older. They scratched the wall, it screeched like a broken microphone. Its said in Vietnamese, " You must leave this house immediately, this house will disappear." They boy understood. Johnny carried Mason on his back and said, "Mason is so damn heavy." "Ha ha," Antonio laughed.
The house turned really pale like it was going to fade away and disintegrate. "What? So quickly... It really faded away," Nick knelt down and stayed there, hesitating. Mason eventually woke up.
"Boy, I've got a lot to tell you guys," Mason said.
"No you don't have to, my friend," the boy said.
The boys gasp.
THE NEXT BOOK WILL COME IN A COUPLE OF MONTHS
