Religion (and a few other things) |

There are many, MANY religions in the USA, but Christianity reigns supreme. And because of this fact, people say that just Christianity should be: taught in public schools, allowed to speak freely of in work, etc! But we all know that other religions are here in America, and even helped create and make Christianity!
I know some will NOT agree, but Christian Holidays are around Pagan holidays, not by coincidence, but because the creaters of Christianity and such wanted to take over Pagans. Also, the Devil is seen as a Satyr like man, while in Paganism the Satyr like man was the Male God.
In the mid-1st century, Christianity began as a Jewish sect, but then around the 4th century became dominant within the Roman empire. Jesus Christ, to whom Christianity is named upon, was a Jewish Prophet, meaning that anyone who had become Christian from Judaism, were still kind of Jewish.
There doesn't appear to be many more religions that helped create Christianity, but to speak only of Christianity in public schools would be wrong and offensive, probably not to you if your Christian, but those who are of another religion. So to speak of Christianity in public schools, you need to include the other major religions or not even talk about it at all.
Now this is just me rambling again, but please do NOT comment this and say that I am wrong about the Pagans. Look it up! I am not!
I apologize if you are not Christian and are reading this and are thinking "this has nothing to do with me". This is to the strong believers of Christianity ho do not question a thing.
My grandmother once told me that "If you stop questioning, you stop growing." I believe what she said, and that is what I do. I question the impossible deeds that Jesus did in the Bible. Did you know that they took out all the books in the Bible that made Jesus look human and not devine? My grandfather once brought up the topic of reencarnation in his Sunday School class. Almost everyone became angry with him, even though in the BIBLE reencarnation is mentioned, hinted, etc! In my grandmothers class, someone brought up a book that tells you the similarities within Christianity and I believe Islamic. Almost everyone in the class got angry at the person, thinking it immoral to bring up other religions in the class. I never understood why though, wouldn't it be smarter if we knew about the Islamic or Jewish or any other religion before saying "WE ARE RIGHT". And sadly, those words have started many WARs. Religion I believe shouldn't be the start of wars, but yet it often is.
Here is what I believe:
WE ARE ARE LL WORSHIPPING THE SAME GOD, JUST USING DIFFERENT NAMES FOR HIM IN DIFFERENT RELIGIONS AND DIFFERENT WAYS OF SHOWING OUR LOVE FOR HIM/HER.
Yes, Him or Her. You never ever know! Pagans believed that there are two almighty people: The God and the Goddess. But Christianity took that part of the religion, took the female side of the relgion and threw it away, and that is why I believe we live in a male dominated society.
(I REPEAT! Do NOT comment saying that any of this is wrong, bad, or anything else rude or mean. This is what IIIIIIIIII believe. You do not have to agree with me.)
